Welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Tessa and I LOVE love!

So, have you found your person? CONGRATULATIONS! This is where I come in.

I am an Adelaide based Marriage Celebrant and I want to work with you to create a ceremony that makes your day PERFECT! That means getting to know you, your story, your vibe and putting it all together in a fun, heartfelt and meaningful ceremony. Most of all, I want you to have FUN!

Want to run away together, sign some papers and that’s it? Or maybe just invite a small group and have a picnic? Or, are you having a huge party with a magician? (awesome idea btw). Whatever is it, I want to be part of it. And, don’t worry about the admin, I’ve got it covered.

And, if you want me to keep the party going I also offer MC and DJ services - no need to coordinate with multiple people, I’ve got you covered!

  • Want to run away together? Or maybe you’re just not interested in sharing the day with anyone but each other (plus two witnesses). This is for you!

    Say the magic (legal) words, scribble your signature and toast to your lives together.

    We can meet once before the ceremony to chat and go over your simple but oh so special day.

  • Want more than the legals but not interested in the big, traditional wedding? This is for you!

    I’ll write a simple ceremony perfectly suited to you, then, let the celebrations begin!

    Plus, you’ll get to hang out with me twice before the big day!

  • Inviting all your friends, family, friends of friends and friends of the family? This is for you.

    I’ll write your story, meet with you a bunch, rehearse it all and bring the vibes to start your celebration with a bang!

MC Services

  • Okay, you’ve got a friend as MC for the night or maybe an MC just isn’t on the cards…but…how are you wrangling everyone for a group photo? Who is making sure you have a glass of champagne and that guests move seamlessly from ceremony to reception?

    This service is for couples who would like me to stay after the ceremony to help with the transition between ceremony and reception. I’ll keep the music playing, guide guests to where they are meant to be, assist with photos, ensure you get that private look at your reception and liaise with other vendors prior to the start of the big party.

    It’s Us, The Whole Crew - And A Cocktail or Two!

  • Picture this, you're married (yay) and I stay to keep the celebrations going. I can work with your photographer to arrange family and group photos, announce the entrance of your bridal party and give you the reception entrance you deserve. I can stop Uncle Freddie from making that drunken speech and Auntie Jude from singing 'I Will Always Love You.'

    This service is only available with my 'Us and the Whole Crew' celebrant service.

  • If you’re not hiring live musicians for your ceremony, please don’t ask one of your guests to press play on your Spotify playlist! Let them enjoy the ceremony: I have a fabulous sound system and a handy helper (my long suffering husband) who can take care of this for you.

    This service is included in my, Us and The Whole Crew package.

    We can even cut the song to make it work for the aisle, number of bridal party members and your vision.

  • Okay, it’s time to take some photos, mingle and relax before the reception starts.

    Here’s the problem: the DJ is set up over in the reception building…

    The answer is: Me! If you elect this service, I can use my equipment to play cocktail hour music after the ceremony until it’s time to sit down for your reception.

    The great thing is that I have two speakers so we can transition seamlessly from the ceremony to cocktail area too.

  • It’s time for introductions, dancing, cake cutting and bouquet toss!

    It’s time to celebrate!

    I am offering a service which is a big step up from a Spotify playlist without the price tag of a big set-up. Why? Because I noticed that a lot of couples were using Spotify instead of a professional DJ and they were being let down by it!

    So, my husband decided to start a new hobby…

    This service is new to That Wedding Girl and only available with the MC package.
